Understanding Specific Learning Disabilities

Having a learning difficulty means that people find it harder to learn certain skills. As this affects around 15% of people, it is important for those working in healthcare, social care and education to have knowledge of different Specific Learning Difficulties such as ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder ), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), dyslexia and dyscalculia.

Day 6
Dealing with students with SLD in classroom
Families with SLD students, how to achieve successful inclusion with families
Visit to a school and networking moments to establish new partnerships. Meeting with teachers and studets
